Vest off

Arrived @ KLCC about 6.30pm.
It was still extremely hot.
Jamie had already done 6 laps.
He was sitting on the bench,
this area has since been the runners gathering place.
His vest was off, must be the hot weather, or maybe
he was displaying his flat tummy and slender body.
With only his short shorts on I noticed that .....

Spotted Rohaizad, Kenneth and Justin.
Join them running instead of Ronnie and Adam.
The pace was below 7 mins per lap.
I stopped after 4 laps, had side stitch.

Good workout eventhough it was only 4 laps.
Today I feel pain on my right sole, nerve behind right knee and left hip.
Lunch today with William, Jamie, Justin and Kenneth.
I told Kenneth that I will better his SJ 10km timing of 50.07 mins.
Kenneth welcome the challenge and said 'bring it on, man'.

Always running

Just found out my blog is listed in PM1 famous blog.
Better post something about running.

People usually give flowers for Valentine, dinners for most occasions and etc.
Why not, organize a run?
This will promote health and also awareness.

For example :-

Valentine's day - Run with the one you love
Father's Day - Run with your dad
Mother's Day - Run with your mom
Save the endangered species run
My boss is an asshole run
I love my spouse run
Blind awareness - run blind folded with a guide
Anti Snatch Thieves Run
Anti Rape Run

Whatever it is, just run lah!

Why do we fall Bruce?

Was on leave yesterday, alone, my wife was at work.
It all started like this.
I could not access the leave system (yes we have a system for leave).
Upon checking with our co-ordinator, my id was deleted because it was inactive for more than 3 months.
Gosh I have not taken leave for so long!
Got my id re-created last week and immediately applied for leave.
1 day leave only because I have to submit MIS reports on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Now I have to submit all by today!

Time to and for myself is quite a luxury.
I had to maximize what to do today.
First get the aloe vera plants to my mom's place because
the condo management told me not to put plants on the ledge.
Secondly watch Star Wars alone as my wife is not a fan.

Reached KLCC about 11 plus and asked for the next available show.
The earliest and most interesting to me was Batman Begins (BB).
Should I or shouldn't I.
My wife has a thing that I must watch movies with her, which I understand.
Bought the ticket, if need be I can watch it again with my wife.

I am a softie for meaningful words.
And in BB these words were said from the father to the son, when the son fell down.
The son was afraid and shocked from the fall.
The father's voice was in a caring tone, soothing, smiling, teaching and most of all, loving.
'Why do we fall Bruce? So that we learn to pick ourselves up.'.
The message from the father was that it is perfectly ok to fall, in fact it makes you stronger.
I must remember to use such words, loving tone and teach my 2 sons to be strong men.
That's all I am gonna say about BB, don't wanna spoil it for you.
And my opinion about BB is, watch it but do not expect too much.

Must remember to boycott KLCC parking.
Since I was alone I could have parked outside for RM3.
Movie ticket RM8, KLCC parking RM7.50.
RM4.50 could have been saved to buy PowerGel.

My 3rd task, buy Plasma Aircond, recommended by my friend, as my 1st son gets coughs easily.
I hop into my Batmobile and reached in no time.
Got it, installed it and it was already 7 plus.

4th task, get a haircut, not achieved.
Too late already gotta pick wife up.
That's it one day leave over.

Just look away.

I used to stare at reckless drivers.
Nowadays I just look away.
Because I tell myself, I rather remember pleasant moments.
