Seven
Did 7 laps alone at KLCC yesterday, running clockwise direction.
PM21, PM1, Yan and friend, Jossie and friend was there.
On my 1st lap, PM21 mentioned that KLCC track would be
closed today, that statement encouraged me to try to run
 more than 5 laps.
3rd lap PM1 said the same thing, mmm... good couples think alike.
On my 4th lap, Yan said 'u going faster n faster', actually no lah,
but thanks for the encouragement, suddenly I felt lighter and i
actually ran faster but just for awhile.
 Finally completed 7 laps.
Its been a long time since I ran more than 5 laps.
I was pretty soaked, tired and satisfied.

More food more weight
Ran 4 laps at KLCC last Friday.
 Weather was good for running.
Surprisingly no PM was running except PM37.
With a growing appetite for food and reduced in running,
I have definitely put on some weight.
The last few runs have been difficult.
I can only manage a maximum of 5 laps.

Good morning, teacher
People say that our children are our future or leaders of tomorrow.
If we believe that, then teachers should be
of the most qualified and the most well paid job in the world.
 They should be :-
 - physically fit
 - thinkers
 - superb written and verbal communication skills
 - physcologist
 - well dressed
 - nutritionist/dietician
 - and everything else.
Schools and goverments should also help.
Provide quality nutritious food, quality facilities, curriculum and etc.
One of my teacher was a drunk.
Some had tummies like they were about to deliver.
Some did not like to talk, they like to hit.
Some do not like too many questions.
Some do not like to be teachers.
I need RM199,999
I have read many times about some poor little kid that
needs plenty of money in order to have a surgery/transplant.
Each time I feel sad and angry.
 Why is it so expensive?
If the main objective of being a doctor is to save lives
then let's stick to this simple and honorable objective.
 Save lives.
And hospitals are also not helping.
There are hospitals that are listed companies.
That means it is a profit making organization.
Making money/business from sick people, that's sickening man.
WTF!

Annual dinner
			  Aug 20, 2005.
Company annual dinner at Mandarin Oriental.
While waiting for my wife near the ballroom entrance
my gorgeous colleague ask me 'have u put it in?'.
Smiling I said 'that's not a nice thing to ask a man'.
I further told her,
'in fact i think its in the top 10 list of things not
to say to a man'.
Actually she meant have i drop in my lucky draw number.
The main entertainer for the night was the Malaysian Idol
winner Jacqueline (hope this is correct).
In my opinion, she turn out pretty bad.
Singing was bad, maybe its like running, somedays off form.
Poor showmanship, not able to hold the audience.
For me, she was quite irritating.
Bump into the gorgeous girl and she ask me
'did Wen Dee come?'. I smiled and she said
'ok u don't have to answer'.
My wife and I were frequently checking our handphones for
any calls. My brother and sister was taking care of my elder
son and the younger one was putting up a night at his nanny's
place. Phew no calls, no news is good news.

Perfect weather
			  Beautiful weather yesterday.
Did 5 laps at KLCC.
Those running that I know by name
PM1, PM29, PM20, PM33, Yong, AL, Fazli, Gan,
Hello, Stephanie, Annie and maybe more.
PM21 not running.
Many other regulars which I do not know by name also ran.
The tall footballer, the mat salleh with headphone walking lady,
the cute bandana chick, yan's boss & friend, 'Zatopek'
and probably some others that I miss out.
We hit der bench and we had a good chat.
During the chat this PM share with us that he found
and returned a wallet with cash RM2000 inside.
He did not take a cent, what a guy!
I imagined 30 years from now all of us at der bench.
It was a wonderful image.
Some still swearing, some still running fast, some still
running slow, but it does not matter, what mattered
was we were all still running.

Haze free
Monday Aug 15, 2005
Did 4 laps at KLCC with PM20.
 PM20 did 8 laps.
After so many days of haze
we were both happy to welcome the heat and clear skies.
Mr Gan the power walker, message was
'we must appreciate the haze free days.
don't matter if it rains or shine as long as no haze we can workout'.
 How true how true.

The Natural Source
The above is a name of a shop right beside the Midvalley Kenny Rogers Roaster.
And you would be able to spot it on the way up using the escalator from the car park.
From the name I guess that its selling some health food.
And eventhough I was looking from a distance and do not know exactly what they were
selling, I was having a good laugh.
 Why?
The initials of the shop name is TNS!
The shop initials are also in the billboard, one vertically and one horizontally.
For those who follow PM1 website closely would and should know what TNS means.
And of course it helps if you know Cantonese.
For those who still do not understand let me share with you.
 TNS is a Cantonese acronym.
It means or equals to a commonly used four letter English word.
This word may or may not be found in some English dictionary.
Weather conditions
Since I started running last year I also became a weather man.
Initially I would skip running if its raining or if its a very hot day.
Missing running is no big deal then.
There was a stage when I ran no matter what.
I read a book that advise to add 'but it doesn't matter' at the end
 of a negative sentence.
For example Its raining but it doesn't matter.
Another was a quote 'bad weather is for wimps'.
Armed with these in mind I ran came rain or shine.
In fact there were days that the harder it rained or the hotter
on that day the more I felt like running.
 Just to prove I can.
And there were somedays I even 'staged my moment'.
Me   : Yesterday was raining cats and dogs.
 PMs :  Did you run?
 Me   : Yeah.
And I felt so good it became my long run.
It seems I could have just run forever.
 Another example.
Me  : It was crazy hot yesterday.
 PMs : Did you run?
 Me  : Yeah.
In fact pretty fast too despite the heat.

Autobiographies
I was at the bookstore on Saturday.
After hunting for running books I was browsing the autobiographies(abs) section.
There were many to choose from.
Before I could pick up any of the books, something came to mind.
I don't even know in detail what my mom, dad, brothers and sisters has been through.
And I believe they have been through pretty much.
How difficult it must have been to raise 6 children.
What pain my parents must have gone through.
Why am I reading any of these strangers abs?
I should try spending more time and patience to have an in-depth
knowledge of my family member lives, rather than some strangers.
And its not just abs, many years ago I would daily read about whether
this person was sodomised, did OJ do it and so on.

I want to live!
Last Thursday nite, suddenly I felt as though our living room was spinning,
I felt loss of balance and the spinning was getting faster.
I had to sit and suddenly there was a rush of cold sweat all over
my head and upper body. I could not keep my eyes open.
I either fell asleep or I fainted for a few minutes.
The next day, I told the doctor what happened and also I now hear
a constant high pitch ringing even before this incident.
He check my blood pressure, throat, ear and chest.
 All ok.
The doctor had mentioned that I may have developed diabetes
that caused the attack on Thursday nite.
Upon his suggestion to do a thorough blood test, I quickly arrange
an appointment to have a full medical check-up on Monday morning.
 I was pretty worried.
According to him symptoms of diabetes were, going to the
loo at night, feeing of thirst and loss of weight.
Oh no! I felt all 3 symptoms.
What is going on inside me!
The results showed that I have high cholesterol.
Total 5.5, the right level should be 5.2 and below. The main culprit is
my LDL cholesterol 3.8 when it should be 2.5 or less.
According to the doctor high LDL is the culprit for heart problems.
The doctor advised to drink more water, exercise and watch my diet.
They also tested for diabetes, cancer, internal organs, etc etc etc.
I am so happy that I do not have other health problems.
Ran 6 laps at KLCC as a celebration.
